terms of service

Simple terms for using StretchLock.

These Terms explain how StretchLock can be used, what you are responsible for, and what to know before using stretch-based app locks.

Effective Date: June 27, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using StretchLock, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

StretchLock helps you reduce mindless scrolling by locking selected distracting apps until you complete a short stretch.

It provides app blocking, stretch routines, reminders, streak tracking, and other wellness and productivity tools.

3. Wellness Disclaimer

StretchLock is not medical advice.

It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Stop any stretch if you feel pain, and consult a healthcare professional if needed.

Results are not guaranteed.

4. User Responsibilities

Use the app legally and in line with platform rules.

Provide accurate information if you choose to enter any.

Perform stretches safely and within your own limits.

Manage your own device permissions and settings.

Do not misuse, reverse engineer, copy, or interfere with the app.

5. Screen Time and App Blocking Limitations

App blocking depends on Apple Screen Time / Family Controls permissions, iOS behavior, your device settings, and the apps or categories you select.

StretchLock cannot guarantee that every app will always be blocked in every condition.

You can disable permissions or change settings at any time, which may affect how blocking works.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

StretchLock may offer Pro subscriptions, such as weekly and yearly plans.

Purchases are handled through Apple in-app purchases.

Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID / App Store settings.

Prices and plans may change, as shown on the App Store purchase screen.

Access to Pro features depends on an active subscription.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple in line with Apple's policies.

8. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use StretchLock.

Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies unless a custom EULA replaces it.

9. Intellectual Property

All app design, code, branding, logo, mascot, content, and stretch routines belong to BetterBody Labs or its licensors.

You may not use them without permission.

10. User Content and Data

If you enter a name, answers, preferences, or settings, you allow StretchLock to use that data to provide the app's features.

11. Termination

We may suspend or stop your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.

12. Disclaimers

StretchLock is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, StretchLock and BetterBody Labs are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of StretchLock means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, unless mandatory consumer laws in your region require otherwise.
