Profile basics: a name or nickname you enter during onboarding.
Onboarding answers: such as age range, phone usage habits, goals, selected distractions, stretch habits, and commitment answers.
App activity: stretch progress, streaks, completed stretch dates, reminder settings, and lock schedule settings.
App selections: the apps, categories, or web domains you choose to block through Apple Screen Time / Family Controls.
Subscription status: purchase and entitlement information from Apple and RevenueCat.
Device and diagnostic data: app version, device type, crash logs, performance events, and analytics events.
Notification data: your notification permission status and reminder-related settings.
StretchLock uses Apple Screen Time / Family Controls only to let you select the apps, categories, or web domains you want to block.
Apple provides privacy-preserving tokens and counts — not full readable browsing history or message content.
StretchLock does not read your messages, passwords, photos, contacts, private app content, or exact content from other apps.
Your app-blocking selections are used only to provide the locking and unlocking features.
Personalize onboarding and stretch recommendations.
Lock selected apps until a stretch is completed.
Save your progress, streaks, reminders, and preferences.
Provide subscriptions and restore purchases.
Send reminders and notifications.
Improve app reliability and understand how features are used.
Detect and fix bugs and crashes.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (for example, notifications and analytics where required); performance of a contract (to provide the app and subscriptions); legitimate interests (to keep the app reliable and improve features); and legal obligations (to meet legal and security requirements).
You can withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on.
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the app:
Apple / App Store — purchases, subscriptions, and TestFlight / App Store distribution.
RevenueCat — subscription entitlement and purchase status.
Sentry — crash and error monitoring.
PostHog — product analytics.
Expo and Apple Push Notification service — delivering notifications.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. StretchLock does not sell your personal data.
Local app data stays on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Data held by our service providers is kept only as long as needed to operate the app and for analytics, legal, and security reasons.
You can request deletion of your data where applicable by contacting us.
Disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Change or remove Screen Time / Family Controls permissions in iOS Settings.
Reset or clear local app data where the app supports it.
Request access, correction, deletion, or opt out where legally applicable by contacting hello@stretchlock.app.
StretchLock is intended for users aged 13 and older.
If you are under the age required for consent in your region, please use StretchLock only with a parent or guardian's consent.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own by us or our service providers.
By using StretchLock, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in these locations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
